Just wanted to add one more piece of information to this thread.

The organizers have stated that anyone under 16 will not be allowed onto the show floor during setup.

I didn't see this posted any where on the Trains-N-Town site.

How will the set up be handled? Will there be any designated door/s we can use to bring stuff in? I have a few boxes of MOCs. Nothing major in size but it would be nice not to have to walk a mile to bring things in. See you guys in Hartford.

sorry! I thought we got that info out to everyone but it must have been via e-mail. Sigh...

The web site for the CT Convention Center has clear directions and a really nice PDF file of a map of the building and routes to take to both the parking garage and the loading dock. Just follow the "Directions" tab for all the details. Click the "click here for a detailed map" button for the PDF.

The instructions we got from NMRA are a bit confusing about getting name badges and then being able to unload at the loading dock, but you need to park to get your badge, so we're hoping it's not as confusing as it sounds. There are also going to be hired hands to help carry things from the loading dock, if you need help. My guess is you'll need to tip them if you use them, but I could be dead wrong on that. Just need to play it by ear.

Let us know if you need any more info!

Also, there is a check-in desk for the NTS where you can get your badges. I'll leave my contact info at the desk so if anyone has questions/issues you can give me a buzz.

See everyone there!!!
